Control System
The Multi-Level Water Control -
Model 1000 is designed as a multiple device
operating platform that coordinates many different devices such as pumps, lights, alarms,
valves, solenoids, and other electrical devices into one control system. Each probe
operates independently and controls a separate output relay which can be programmed to
activate or deactivate the device on rising or on falling water levels. All
operations are totally automatic and does not require manual resetting or adjustment of
time-delay relays. The control transmits a unique 2-volt AC signal at 6,000 Hz to
detect the absence or presence of the water and prevents electrode plating problems caused
by the minerals within the water. The control also provides an automatic
"Fail-Safe" mode for the protection of all external devices during loss of power
conditions. The system is low cost, extremely accurate, very efficient, highly
reliable, and is virtually maintenance free.
Probe System
The Standard Model 1000 control can operate a maximum of 2 separate devices. Custom
systems can be designed to control more than 2 separate devices from one common control.
Each device is controlled by a separate electrode that is suspended with cable from
a junction box mounted on the roof of the water storage tank. The cable is a special
manufactured 2 conductor, PVC, 20 AWG size cable that is marked in 1-foot or 500-mm
increments for accurately setting the probes to the proper elevations. This cable
has very low stretch characteristics with a high 350 lb. breaking strength. Any
length of probe suspension cable can be supplied up to 500 feet maximum. The
control system enclosure can be placed up to 250 feet from the probe suspension junction
box.
Installation & Optional

enclosure and the required length of probe suspension cable with factory attached
electrodes. Available options include various power supply voltages, type of NEMA
system enclosure, a multiple probe junction box, type of audible or visual alarms, type of
relays, and stainless steel or nickel-plated electrodes. |
